In accordance with Document No. 3028/BCT-XNK dated May 19, 2023, issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade regarding the evaluation of Reliable Exporters for the year 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has collaborated with various ministries, sectors, industry associations, provincial Departments of Industry and Trade, centrally governed municipalities, and relevant agencies to assess, select, compile, and publish the preliminary list of “Reliable Exporters” for 2022 on the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s electronic information portal for public opinion reference.
The list of Reliable Exporters is consolidated and published based on the selection and proposals of relevant agencies. The selection is made according to criteria specified by the Ministry of Industry and Trade concerning the minimum export turnover, reputation in business with foreign partners, compliance with obligations to the State in customs, tax, environmental areas, etc. This is a crucial activity aimed at supporting Vietnamese enterprises in enhancing their export capabilities and expanding markets, particularly in the context of Vietnam’s participation in various bilateral and multilateral free trade agreements.
Following the publication of the preliminary list and the consideration of feedback, on December 14, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 3235/QD-BCT approving the list of “Reliable Exporters” for 2022. Based on the proposals of 54 selection entities (including ministries, sectors, industry associations, provincial Departments of Industry and Trade, municipalities), the Ministry of Industry and Trade selected 274 enterprises (equivalent to 278 enterprises across 25 sectors). Currently, Decision No. 3235/QD-BCT dated December 14, 2023, and the official list of “Reliable Exporters” for 2022 are available on the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s electronic portal (www.moit.gov.vn) and the electronic information pages of some relevant agencies.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade hopes that Vietnam’s Reliable Exporters will continue their efforts and achievements in the coming time to affirm their position in the global business community.
